Samantha Mohr
Mohr, a UGA student who advised her that she enter the Miss Columbus 1985 pageant, won it. She was then eligible for the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. Mohr was the winner on June 22nd in 1985. The winner earned more than $3,500 in cash scholarships as well as other prizes at the state pageant. The Miss Georgia was a part of her. Georgia and made public appearances across Georgia as part of her obligations. Mohr was Georgia's representative. was at Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September of 1985. With computer models that accurately forecasted the possibility that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were calculated at 22: one. Mohr was not on the list of the top 10 contenders for the title of Miss America. Mohr's time in the role of Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986.
